WISE HAS A NEW WORLD RECORD HOLDER!
Senior Students of Wise International School - Sri Lanka this year too have won numerous awards at The Queen's Commonwealth Essay Competition 2019, organized by the Royal Commonwealth Society and sponsored by The Royal Family. The highlight among this year’s achievements at the competition is undoubtedly, the New Commonwealth Record Set by Master Pivithu Senpura, Edexcel IAS Student (Senior Prefect) for the Most number of consecutive awards won in the Senior Category in the span of the last four years. (2016 – Bronze / 2017 – Silver / 2018 – Bronze / 2019 – Bronze). More than 14,000 young people from across the Commonwealth entered the competition this year, where our school students have managed to secure 10 awards in total. The Award winners are ;
1. Pivithu Senpura - Senior Category – WORLD RECORD HOLDER ( BRONZE award )
2. Wenush Rasanjana- Senior Category - SILVER award
3. Methu Perera - Junior Category - SILVER award
4. Chamathka Indeewari - Junior Category - SILVER award
5. Jade Jayatillake - Junior Category - BRONZE award
6. Anjelica Schwallie - Junior Category - BRONZE award
7. Navoda Costa - Junior Category - BRONZE award
8. Methusa Silva - Junior Category - BRONZE award
9. Balasingham Rishidaran - Junior Category - BRONZE award
10. Sadeep Rosairo – Senior Category - BRONZE award
